"Having grown up on MDI, I have proudly been a part of this school district since my own kindergarten year, approximately four thousand years ago. I feel lucky to be raising my children here as well, and have been serving on the school board for the past fifteen years in order to give back to a system that gives us all so much. I’d rather be outside than in most days, and I love to hike, swim, garden, ski, and float in any capacity- on a boat or on my back in any of our island waters. I love our local community, and I’m grateful to be a part of this reorganization process, which I see as a perfect extension of the resource sharing and collaboration that our island and the sending communities are so well known for.”
