Promotion of Various Curricula and Teaching Strategies that Integrate Technology

Describe how various curricula and teaching strategies that integrate technology effectively into the general curriculum and instruction will be identified based on a review of relevant research, and promoted to lead to improvements in student academic achievement.

Technology in Education is in a constant state of change, therefore MDIRSS will use multiple means of communication to transmit information to staff members and to keep moving towards meeting our vision and mission goals. Some of the ways that we promote our curricula, and strategies for technology integration are:

1. Professional Development, workshops, in-service days, after school weekly scheduled training sessions

2. Summer sessions and conferences

3. MDIRSS websites. District website that provides information on curriculum, vision, mission statements, and trainings.

4. Teacher websites promoting classroom activities and methodologies.

5. Technology Integrators/Technology Staff Member- provide technology integrators +/or technology staff member to assist in the integration of technology into the classroom.
