Thanks to Peter Weaver for this great resource! If you have students needed direct instruction in social skills... this is a very good website. Once you arrive at this link, click on table of contents to get the whole program. This may be helpful for teachers who are struggling to re-invent the wheel and gives a good use for our technology.

There is a great website out of Mass General Hospital with excellent school based interventions specific to particular mental health diagnoses. It also has a wealth of information for parents and clinicians. It's schoolpsychiatry.org <http://schoolpsychiatry.org>
The American Academy of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry (http://www.aacap.org/ ) is another very good resource, less specific to education but good information on a range of diagnoses and issues relevant to child and adolescent mental health. Select the Resources for Families section.
Also HIGHLY RECOMMENDED is the work of Ross W. Greene, Ph. D. (http://www.explosivechild.com/bio/bio.html). A google search brings up multiple hits... Look specifically for the "Pathways Inventory" to help identify individual cognitive challenges and lagging skills that may be contributing to the child's behavioral difficulties. Hopefully the school based interventions on the website will help us work on compensatory strategies.
