2.MU.A.1 Explore the concept that rhythm goes “the way the words go” and that phrases should be sung like reading a book.
2.MU.A.2 Distinguish verses from choruses and sing appropriately with correct diction and pleasing tone.
2.MU.B Perform on instruments, alone and with others, a varied repertoire of music.
2.MU.B.1 Demonstrate mastery of echo clapping.
2.MU.B.2 Demonstrate a simple ostinato.
2.MU.B.3 Illustrate songs/song stories through performance on rhythmic and melodic instruments.
2.MU.C Improvise melodies, variations, and accompaniments.
