Grade 2 Essential Health Standards
  • E1a. Demonstrate healthy ways to express needs, wants, and feelings.
  • Understand how germs lead to illness, with emphasis on prevention of transmission.
  • Classify foods using the food guide system.
  • Demonstrate emotional management strategies.
  • F2. Identify a short-term personal health goal and take action toward achieving the goal.
  • Demonstrate an awareness of their changing bodies.
